Best known as the lead singer/main arranger of Bellowhead, Jon Boden is one of the stand out folk performers of his generation. 

He founded The Remnant Kings in 2009, before Bellowhead hit top gear, and relaunched the band in 2017 with Bellowhead's Sam Sweeney and Paul Sartin, Leveret’s Rob Harbron, and Ben Nicholls and Richard Warren from King of The South Seas. Their album, Rose In June, was released in November 2019.

RUSH tells the story of reggae music from the arrival of the Windrush Generation from Jamaica - bringing their music, stories and history with them - and follows how their music evolved through the decades to take the world by storm. 

Narrated by comedian John Simmit, the show features ska, rock steady, calypso, gospel, lovers rock, dancehall and reggae - all played live by the JA Reggae Band. Come and hear the music of Desmond Dekker, Jimmy Cliff, Toots & The Maytals, Prince Buster, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Lord Kitchener, Millie Small and many, many more.
