The Festival has teamed up with Santander Cycles MK to offer Festival-goers special rates on the distinctive, red-branded bikes. You will be able to access FREE unlimited 30-minute rides.
Here’s how to take advantage of this service:
Download the latest version of the ‘nextbike’ app to register.
Accept T&Cs and once registered select 'Activate Account'. Complete the ‘Profile Fields’ and verify your account by clicking on the link emailed to you. Once in your account, select 'Menu' (three dashes on the upper left corner), then 'Account settings'.
Step 2: Find one of the many docking stations and get riding!

Additional docking stations will be in Campbell Park and at the Tree Cathedral for Festival events on key dates – these will appear on the cycle map when they are live and available to use.
Step 3: Return the bike to an official Santander Cycles MK station.
Lock it by pressing down the lever on the framelock at the rear of the bike. A beep will confirm the successful return and end of your rental. If a docking station is full, place the bike directly next to the station and call Customer Services on 020 8166 9851.

If you are using bikes or scooters, please wear a suitable helmet and ride with care. The Festival cannot accept any responsibility for your safety when travelling around the City.
Milton Keynes City Centre grid road system means traffic jams are remarkably rare. It's possible to drive from one side of the city to the other in 15 minutes, and Central Milton Keynes is less than 10 minutes from all edges of the city including the M1 motorway and the A5 dual carriageway.
Roads within central Milton Keynes are designated as 'V roads' and 'H roads' (for 'Vertical' and 'Horizontal'). V roads are named as 'Streets' (eg. V6 Grafton Street), and H roads as 'Ways' (eg. H6 Childs Way).
Parking and Electric Car charging in Milton Keynes City Centre
There is ample parking. Rates range from 50p (Purple Zone) to £2 (Red Zone) per hour and there are also bays which also up to three hours free parking.

Accessble Parking: In the City Centre there are ample disabled parking bays which are free of charge to Blue Badge Holders. There are also parking bays designated for charging electric vehicles.
