The Stables Sessions: Tom Duggan

Award-winning singer-songwriter Tom Duggan hails from IF's hometown of Milton Keynes. He brings a fresh and soulful approach to the acoustic genre, which helped him win the Fresh Sounds Award for artists aged under 25. 

With ten singles released so far and nearly one million streams on Spotify alone, Tom Duggan is rapidly developing as a stand-out live performer. His new music, to be released this summer, will reflect his broadening of musical styles and instrumentation, whilst still focusing on deeply personal and emotive lyrics, he showcases his memorable vocal talents. 

Tom is the embodiment of DIY music, which took off during the pandemic. He began recording with just a single microphone and basic music software. His passion for writing and producing music has not stopped growing. To think that his first single, Ashes, was recorded in one take demonstrates that he is one of those rare performers who sound better live than recorded.
