Captain Boomer: Pasture with Cows

FREE event Friday 21 – Sunday 23 July 2023

Belgian company Captain Boomer invite you to enter a world of pastoral bliss in the heart of Milton Keynes city centre.

Real-life cows – referencing the concrete cows for which Milton Keynes is famed – graze within an outsized gilt picture frame. Inspired by Old Master paintings of livestock, Pasture with Cows pauses time and draws the viewer into this entrancing piece of slow art.

The majestic rhythm of the cows creates a pleasantly pastoral environment that encourages peaceful rumination and camaraderie, punctuated with the occasional surprise turn of events.
