A  departure from central Milton Keynes takes you to a secret rural location, where the real journey begins…

Alter is a journey into the heart of the night in search of a shared humanity. Seven characters appear, each carrying their own suitcase. Who are they, what are their stories?

Alter is an unforgettable experience that is profound and joyous, immersed in surrealism and the absurd, and heading towards hope.

About Kamchàtka

Kamchàtka, an extraordinary award-winning collective of international artists, first came together in Barcelona in 2006. They create powerful award-winning outdoor theatre, drawing audiences in to their world through silent gestures, exploring themes of migration and displacement.



Secret rural location; ticket holders will be emailed details of the meeting point in central Milton Keynes before the event.


Ticket holders will begin their evening at 9.30pm and return to Milton Keynes by midnight.

Age suitability

12+; under-16s must be accompanied by an adult

Access Information

The show will require walking on uneven ground and slopes. Not suitable for people with impaired mobility.

What To Expect

🥔 Each audience member should bring one uncooked potato to the show
