Be part of something truly uplifting at this year's Festival!

Free paper dove-making workshops

Daily from Thursday 3 - Sunday 27 July, 11am-3pm

Middleton Hall, centre:mk
For ages 8+

We invite you to join us to create beautiful paper doves inspired by Michael Pendry's stunning art-for-peace installation, Les Colombes (The White Doves) which will be on display in Middleton Hall in centre:mk throughout the Festival.

This magnificent artwork, which has graced cathedrals and public spaces around the world, is built upon the collective hope and creativity of thousands of individuals.

Each dove you fold becomes a symbol of peace, purity, and unity. It's a wonderful opportunity to  share a message of harmony with our community and beyond.

No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to participate and contribute to a powerful message of peace. We'll provide all the materials and simple instructions, making it a perfect activity for families, friends, or even a moment of quiet reflection on your own.

Make your own doves at home

Don't worry if you can't make it to Middleton Hall but would still like to take part.

Watch the video below or download the instructions below and make your own dove or mini installation with family, friends or work colleagues at home or in the office!

You could hang it in your front window, your workplace or in another public space. Take a photo of your finished artwork and post on social media for the world to see!
